Mid-Missouri | Here is a picture of what I made that works well with the impeller.
Also, If you slip a variable speed belt, such as the cylinder drive, it can and will be very hard on bearings , such as on the countershaft. The flat spot on the belt will cause vibrations. The cylinder drive belt can slip most easily when running in the slowest speed of the high range.
