| Or you could cut back on acres, let another smaller farmer start or pick up some of your acres, you both go to the coop - pay the same price, so he isn't paying more for the same seed that you got the discount on. The smaller acres have the same yield opportunities and struggles as well. Maybe having 10 farmers isn't the best way to farm the township but with 100 smaller farmers it would allow the prices for everything to realign, seed, fertilizer, chemical, equipment etc. | |
