Subject: RE: Stealing GPS Out of a NH Tractor

As others have suggested pulling it out of the nav directly via a db9 connector or a 12 pin DTM connector is the way to go

BUT

when setting up the receiving device you will have to take into account that the NMEA GPS data is corrected to ground level at the fixed axle. If this is not taken into account things like auto section or auto on off or simply the maps wont look right on the receiving screen.

So your agleader display will have to have the tractor dimensions of Height - 0 cm antenna forward offset of 0 cm and wheelbase of what ever the wheel base is. Then you set up the implement as per normal.

Regards

Simon
