Paxton, IL | Rtx would be a good option rather than moving the modem. Should just need the subscription.
Basically you’d need your nav, or a Trimble flashed nav in the tractor. A case IH nav won’t work for the fmx.
As far as cables go, that’s a bit messy. You probably need pretty much everything. If you’re not worried about it looking pretty then it could be done pretty easily if you have the cables. The case IH pro 600 cables won’t do you any good.
To run Trimble autopilot in a case autosteer ready tractor, you install the fmx as normal (power bus, power cable, gps cable and antenna) then they have a cable that goes from the back of the display up to where the case gps antenna would go. The nav just plugs in the same as a case IH nav would.
Youre field iq system Would need the switch box(s), and power and can cables that go to the back of the tractor.
So basically you’d need to do a complete install and then calibrate. Not as simple as just plugging in a display, but if you decided you want to, it could be done without too much trouble if you have the cables available. | |
