west-byGod-Pa. | my father did custom harvesting work for others since back in the 1930's. Once he was working for an old farmer who he knew to be hard of hearing, so as he talked to the old man, he fair shouted to be heard. Turns out the old man was leaning on the baler (or combine-not sure which) & said to Dad; "you do not need to shout, I can hear you through this machine!" The sound was picked up by the machine & his body picked up the sound by being in contact with the machine. I know-has nuthin' to do with the women folk...... | |
