Yes. For the reasons Chris said and also because you don't have the option of juicing it in the spring to set more tillers. Fall tillers yield more than spring tillers. All the ones saying go ahead, it will be fine have never planted organic wheat late.

Also litter won't be as effective N wise spread on top next spring than incorporated before planting and will not give the juicing effect needed. You've taken 25-30% yield hit before going to the field. Planting rye now gives you 100% yield potential for beans.

If this field needs tiled, I'd try oats or peas next spring. MOFC just sent out that they are looking for peas next year.
