Dad bought a far in the early eighties. The tenant didn't get the beans off until mid November. The next day I notilled wheat. Next spring when the snow went off, the ground had a green tint to it. Made 50 bushel per acre. I have notilled wheat into bean stubble with an inch of snow on the ground. That was a custom job so don't know how it turned out. Was easy to see where to drive though.
