You're right, I had a brain fart. The battery cable only runs the auger. Yes watch the auger state to see what it's doing. You can also watch voltages on the 2 YSM's from the diagnostic page. Although I doubt that's your problem as it would be doing all kinds of wacky things if that was the case.
