Calhoun County, IL | We have a 1997 John Deere 9600 combine that we just added YieldSense to this past summer. So far its been working great except when you turn the lights on at night then the moisture will drop (ex: 15% corn will show 11-12% with lights on). I know power at the cab on the 9000 series combines isn't the best so I'm thinking the best bet is to feed the system directly from the batteries, I was just curious if anybody else had seen this same issue with similar setups. Any other suggestions besides clean power from the batteries? I have checked the voltages in the diagnostic menu on the 20/20 with and without the lights on, the only voltage difference is the prox sensor voltage drops from 9.1 to 8.5 with the lights on.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated. | |
