Subject: RE: Successful Experience with Dicamba - how long will it Last?

Tenn Valley
With the lessons atrazine, Roundup, and the PPO's taught us about weed resistance, how long will this success last. I've got 40+ years in crop experiences and at my age, the last thing I want to hear is that my 6300 acres of spraying was wall to wall dicamba. How much Sense does it make to make this available in corn or even use Status in corn? Remember how easy Roundup spraying was in the late '90's?!? Dr. Randy Luttrell, Ext. Entomologist at Miss. State in the late '80's talked about insecticide resistance. One of his options was, "Use it stand alone, burn thru the Technology and go to the next technology." Is that the direction we're headed? What's our out technology when we burn thru the dicamba? Just Think about it.
