Mercer County, Ohio on the Indiana line | The book says to mark the center point in the machine and turn around. Would you not skew the calibration if the axle that doesn't pivot is not in the exact same spot with athe exact same slope?
I've usually calibrated on a flat road but if you want true sub inch accuracy wouldn't it require the machine to be at an equal and opposite slope from the starting point? How can you achieve that if the solid mounted axle is moved by nearly 20'.
