East Central, Nebraska | i have thought about this for years and would agree. when you go through calibration of almost any brand it tells you to mark wheels and turn around and sit on same tracks. i would agree that it should state that you should have the fixed axle on the same point but opposite direction. i not only do that but try to find a perfectly level slab to calibrate on. that would give you true calibration in my opinion.
to further your observation i have never understood why the terrain compensation and antennas are mounted on floating cabs. i would think a very large man or passenger would effect how well your tractor steers in those conditions.
i also check tire pressures before starting just to ensure everything is as it should from the start. | |
