EC SoDak | Really depends on acreage and management. Some large farms are mostly family oriented but really depends if you're talking 10 or 30k for acres as an example.
For example with equipment costs. I was reading crop talk earlier this year and you have guys running 50 acres per row up to 250. No idea on age of equipment but the ability to be efficient can save a lot of dollars. Add in volume discounts and you can afford to outbid some farmers on rent or
land. Every operation is different and should be treated as such.
