My observations suggest the midsize operators, (here probably means 3000ish acres). Trying to grow without all the economies of scale to help. Time will tell I suppose. Explain all these "economy of scales". You pay through the nose to rent ground, hire people with a heartbeat to run your mega equipment, bitch when they wreck it, bitch because they quit mid season because their wife is messing around with someone else This farming is an addiction with no cure! |
