Subject: RE: selling a combine follow up

Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA
bridge tender - 9/20/2017 11:46

Selling price was 4.500,00 if i didnt have it posted , before called the bank and didnt get a good answer or a cashier check

That's the price and you're worried that you might get taken on this deal?

It has to be some kind of scam. Nobody in their right mind would pay $4,500 for a 915.

Seriously though, is probably just take a check unlesss the guy seemed super shady. Most people aren't going to scam someone for a 915 combine. Maybe if you were selling a Honda Accord or some other popular chop shop car it would be more of a worry.
If it's that big of a concern, see if the guy knows anyone in your area that you know who can vouch for him. I did that on an auger this spring. The guy was pearly of taking a check, but I was able to come up with someone he knew that knew me, so he called the other guy who told him my check would be good. Clear as mud?
