If I were in your shoes on an item like a combine, then I always tell the buyer that their banker needs to talk to my banker. You can ask for the bank name and town it's located in. Just ask the name of the bank loan person that they work with. Use the white pages or 411 the bank to make a phone call. Their loan officer MIGHT or will only probably be able to tell you that the buyer is a customer of the bank.

Do the due diligence BEfore the guy comes! You will sleep better and enjoy the conversation more.

Trust your gut ... That means you don't have to trust them!
