Fulton County Ohio | PayPal and Zelle pay were suggested by my bank. Nephew sold an item. Cashiers check cleared. Three weeks later the bank said the check had been altered. I asked how long the bank can go back. Local manager said three years! I accept cash but only at the bank and have the teller count and verify it is not funny money. Frame the bad checks as a reminder. It is easy to let your guard down. Harder to get your item back. | |
