Growing up on a dairy farm with 6 upright silos, I'm going to disagree with you. Using a few zip ties or a couple extra twines is nothing compared to setting up an unloader, pulling the power cord up 60+ ft., climbing it to see how much room is left at the end of the day, climb again with a pitch fork to make room for another load then, level it off to setup and start feeding. That takes too much time IMO.
