NEND | Can you keep them in sync all the way across the field? That will be one thing to consider. If not, it might be best to have them work on their own/unique areas of the field (which doesn't guarantee that you won't have a 5' strip or two left at some point). Other than that, assuming you can keep them in sync all the time, you can set the track spacing to equal the swath width of both combines. To simplify the math on that, if one combine has a 30' head, and the other a 40', set one to a swath width of 30' with a track spacing of 70'. The other combine would have a swath width of 40' and a track spacing of 70'. I could foresee that being a royal pain to keep them in sync though. Now if you weren't concerned about having the auger avaiable to a grain cart, and you could always make a full round, it wouldn't be so bad. | |
