| On the flip side of this is the guy who calls the shop and starts asking me how much to fix this or when can you look at my car.
I then ask, "who am I speaking to".
When I call my customers, I always say This is *** at ^^^^^ Auto even when they know it is me.
Habits die hard.
I also like to know who I am talking to so when there is a question if I call back or to maintain continuity of the search for a part, I can name who I talked to earlier.
Also if I find a really good person to deal with, I will ask for them again.
