Subject: RE: Putting Direct Command on Hagie 2100

Chebanse, IL.....

We put AL Insight w/direct command & autoswath (using WAAS) in our Hagie 2100 in the spring of '08. However, I stayed w/the factory standard 5 valve arrangement. We have the 60/80 boom. This Hagie is a '98 model. I would have no desire to add any more to the 5 boom sections that exist. AL wiring kit covered most everything that I remember. It is a little tricky since Hagie controls the pump flow w/a hydraulic controlled motor. The flowmeter from the solution controls the hydraulic flow.

Our worked fine when done. I have lots & lots of point rows to spray. I'd give it an A+ on operation.

The "fence row" nozzles work as Ted describes. When they come on, there is no flow adjustment. But, they're only 1 nozzle & not used for that much of the total acreage, so there is no flow adjustment for them.
