Thanks for the long detailed reply Ted, you are correct the booms valves are very expensive however we are now running a JD 6500 with 7 sections on a 60ft boom. We are going to take the Insight off the 6500 and the boom valves will move with it so the cost associated is minimal.

When we setup the 6500 we just laid an Agleader Raven harness in along with the existing JD stuff, seeing as how JD has a completely proprietary system.

The sprayer is a 2000 model 2100 and the one thing you've made me curious about is the pump shuttoff switch and when or if it needs to be used. I haven't called Agleader yet but I don't remember ever seeing a harness for the 2100, only the newer STS models.

I've never had fence row nozzles on a sprayer so they will probably be removed when the boom gets reworked. Currently there is a Raven 660 I believe in there.
