I never used to carry one, and we have plenty around, till I got a 1/2 gallon Igloo one in the cab of a tractor I purchased. For some reason pretty fond of that jug, and its been in use this year.

When I dont take it, two 32 oz powerade bottles half full of ice are a perfect fit along two cans of pop or beer in a little playmate cooler, with enough room between the cans for a baggie of carrot sticks and cheese sticks, and a banana and a sandwich can ride on top of the cans.
