M | it depends on what tractor you have.newer tractors it might work fine. i have a 4255 pulling a 7200 12 row w one pump. i could not get enough vacuum for the real large seed.depending on your planter and tractor thee are somethings you can do to get more vacum. its been awhile since spring e-sets tell you there are some things you can do to increase vacuum.with mine it was get a differant orfice . the closest one was 60 miles away and we wanted to plant corn.so we drilled the one on my planter out one size larger and everything worked fine.there is a test before hand that you can do to see if you will have enough vacuum.ask your dealer how to do the test. its somrething like take one hose off and see how much vacuum you can get. | |
