My vet told me to give a shot of gnrh between 15 and 20 days after they have calved. It will stimulate them to cycle. They will not always settle on the first heat but but they will 20 days later. I moved my calving dates up an average of 30 days one year doing that. That was the only thing that I did any different than normal
