Pretty soon multimin will be the new LA apparently.

Anyway we back many up just putting the cidr in and doing the selct sync program with it then putting bulls in. After putting that effort into them I don't want the failure rate of AI to hurt them even more.  They are already going to be late so Select sync them and put them with other cows and clean up bull to calve second half of calving, let the bulls do what they know to do.  Backed a lot up 30+ days and bred some around 30 days post calving.  Although we also had a cow last year calve extremely late, in June, and she bred back all on her own with her first heat and made the cut this year.  Bulls were out first week of July she bred late June for a late March calf this year.
