Indiana | I have an 8360R and a 24. SF2. Use a few curved tracks like you with the same issue. I could be wrong but I think the main issue is not having implement guidance on the planter itself. The tractor is going where it's supposed to go, but there's nothing to command the planter on where to go and account for any draft, etc. I do have one long crescent shaped field planted on a curve. It does pretty well until the last few passes that are short it wants to make the curve pretty sharp. On the headlands if it's beans I'll just purposely overlap the first pass by a row or two so I don't have a gap for weeds to grow in and hit resume when it straightens out a bit. In corn I have certain curves I know I can drive better than the GPS so I just grab the wheel for the parts I know it will leave that gap. | |
