Probably mostly comes down to weight vs power.
The high tech batteries are good, but the more you haul, the bigger the motors need to be, the bigger the batteries and frame need to be. The bigger the motors, batteries, farme are the more weight you have, so the motors and battery and frame need to be bigger.....
