Central Texas | When bought them, I estimated they weighed 1025-1050. If weighed 1050, 33 days ago would mean they gained 2.36/day. Blows my mind that a lactating cow nursing big calf could gain that much. Even if shrink yesterday's weight 2% they still would have gained 1.68/day.
Here's a pic of cow bought last week and similar frame size that weighed 1020 so think my original 1025-1050 estimate was close.
