I bought my 4230 new in 1974, it now has over 11,000 hours on it. The engine was overhauled at 6900 hours and the quad range transmission hasn't been touched. I ran an oil analysis on the engine and hydraulic oils and everything came back fine. It has been a good solid tractor.
