Have you considered adding the windrowers to your picker to make it a one pass setup? Or are the rocks to thick to make it worthwhile?

That has been considered, briefly. The way the field is windrowed varies with the amount of rock that is there. Sometimes you can make double windrows, sometimes half a windrow is plenty or rock for both the rake and picker to handle. The guy in the picker tractor has enough to pay attention to without adding that complication, so we decided to keep the wind rowing separate.
