Central SD | Am I the only farmer who sprays Status ( the evil dicamba ) on my corn? We always have beans and alfalfa surrounding some of the fields when we spray and have never had a problem. We spray around 6000 acres of corn with a dicamba every year. Obviously we don't spray when the wind is blowing at the sensitive area or there is a chance of an inversion. We have more problems with spray operators drifting RR on our wheat then any one drifting dicamba. But then again maybe just the good spray operators use dicamba and the lazy ones use just RR in our area . | |
