lol, Monsanto has the common farmer fooled into thinking there is some magical yield enhancement with the new extend beans. They are just soybeans with a chemical tolerance trait. Shouldn't every seed company have another new generation of genetics to deliver too with another year of breeding, regardless of trait. This whole seed industry is pure marketing with a very high price tag and a lot of gullible consumers.


I was at a major plot with both RR2 and Extend beans in the plot and if you took away the signs you would easily see which beans were Extend because they were standing better after the storm that had went through the night before with heavy winds. The RR2 beans were all laying down and the Extend beans were standing very well. I don't know how they ended up yielding but they certainly stood better.
