Eastern Half of Kansas
I know of one neighbor planting to test new varieties and genetics. Like said Monsanto has fooled everyone into yield increases. And if they only price them $4 above RR2, those buying them will have problem paying it. The other reason to plant them is people burning down and not wanting to wait the time to plant. If we get in a late year with big weeds and planting in June, you won't be able to haul them in here fast enough if they're available.

This year 1/3 of my beans will be RR2, 1/3 boughten RR1's for less than $30 an unit and 1/3 saved RR1 seed. Spend your money on phosphate and potash.
