That's why I gave up on ink printers nearly 20 years ago,as they're just too unreliable. I bought a Cheap Brother laser nearly a decade ago and it's still working on the original cartridge though I've been getting a low toner warning from time to time. It's monochrome, but the price of color lasers is down to where my next printer will be color, even though they're kind of temperamental as well.
