We work untouched bean stubble twice quite a bit of the time. Seems if you wait till it's good and dry, it works chunky and you have to work it twice, or if it's a little wet, you can't pull a packer, and it still is rough, so you have to let it dry a little and hit it again.

If it's worked in the fall, we try and hit it once in spring, but even then, sometimes it doesn't work that way.

We've been trying to get more in to Notill, but it just seems to be hit and miss here. Worked well the year before, last year with no rain, not so well.
