I always include them in my mix, but only about 2-2.5 lbs... That seems to plenty in a mix and to save $$ I've started to cut them back some more and add rape to the mix. We almost always graze our covers if possible with cows. I would not want them on a field that was more than 50% radish...or any brassica for that matter. They need variety and plants need variety. It's kinda neat how well the grasses, legumes, and brassicas work together in a mix.
