Had a Great Plains 10' drill that planted anything though anything. So I know a lot about it. Kind of got to liking the Case 5400 drill, not sure which caddy ( Yetter or Bluejet ) would be the best for mostly covers. Would use it to plant a few beans a year, but not much. Also looked at the 5400 Soybean Sp.. Though that that maybe a good compromise and then would have a back up bean planter. So not sure at this point which way to go. Very little would get planted here in Sept., normal start time for me is 1st of Oct.. No grazing, just cover crop.
