I'd check your elevator speed sensor. On your display, set one of your (4) lines to show elevator RPM. If it goes below 250 or above 600, the monitor will not calculate yield and therefore go to average. It should stay fairly constant during harvest.

As for the scattered points, I'd lean more toward a GPS issue, even though you haven't had a problem before. If the PF3000 was going to miscalculate Lat and Lon, it would probably do so way out of the ballpark. I would tend to think that the Garmin would loose differential or satellites for a bit, during which your "flyers" occurred.

I once got in trouble with Case IH for posting that Case combines had a specific problem with their elevator speed sensors. That was back in my AL days. But, it was the truth!
