Subject: RE: Ag leadr pf 3000 problem

Pittsburg, Kansas

The console goes to average yield when it is not recieving any flow indication (ie no yield) from the mass flow sensor. I would suspect a problem with the mass flow sensor or the connections to it. Have you taken it out and inspected it? Mice can wreek havoc with them and they will go bad. the wear plate will also wear out. We take ours out at the end of the season and store in a plastic container to prevent mouse damage. I would pull the mass flow sensor out if you have not and check it. I know nothing about Canola but if it is gummy stuff that will also cause problems with readings if it gumms up. We sometimes have problems with soybeans if they have a lot of green butter beans or mud in them. Mass flow sensor plate will coat over with junk and the yield will just keep slowly gonig down till it hardly registers. Clean it off and it will go again till the next time it gums up. One problem with these type of sensors.

John
