Follow Me mode
Phantom III Pro, I-Pad
First attempt at Follow Me was last fall. No go.
Was told by another DJI owner that the updates had to be correct.
A few days ago I did the updates. Other than the changes stuff seems to make, everything seems to be OK.
Go out to try Follow Me.
Find a nice open area.
Take off in P mode, up to 15 or 20 m
Switch to F mode
New icon on I-Pad screen, press and selection of modes, Follow Me, Point of Interest, Waypoints, etc
Things are looking good!
Press Follow Me icon
Question about return to home or low battery.
Make selection
Press Apply
I get a warning - Satellite Signal Weak
So no go.
What am I doing wrong.
Have went out to try this several times. Most of the time with all three batteries fully charged.
Different times of the day. From early morning, mid day to just before sundown.
Did have a lot of problems doing the update. Probably pressed a lot of buttons in frustration. Could I did something to goof it up. |
