I haven't tried to import anything from my drone into AgStudio yet so we will cross that bridge when we get there, hopefully soon! What I want to be able to do is fairly simple; create reliable, accurate crop health images that I can use to make prescriptions with. I don't have a huge budget. So far, I've only actually used the DroneDeploy free trial and created false NDVI images which have shown some interesting trends in some fields but nothing that can be used for anything else, reliably anyway. The things that I have learned, from talking to a lot of different people and from on here, is that any of these modified DJI cameras are low quality at best. I don't want to spend ~$1000 for a mediocre camera that produces unreliable results (blurry corners, out of focus, hard to stitch).

I am at the point now where I am really looking a lot harder at Sentera, whom I'd considered at first but went looking for another route due to higher cost. I like the way that their software, AgVault, imports, stores and manages data but it wont create a fully stitched image, so I'd now be paying for two subscriptions - one to AgVault and one to DD or Pix4D or something for processing. From what I understand, I can use DD or datamapper with the Sentera and just forget the whole AgVault part of it. Its great that DD and datamapper will export directly in a .shp format now. One less bridge to cross. Sorry for the rant, if you have any comments to what I've said, please feel free. I'm always interested to hear what those who know a lot more than me have to say!
