I have a wild apple tree in a fence line that's getting a little to bushy. I would like to trim it back before planting the field in a couple weeks. Can I still prune this late? We are in NC Wisconsin. The tree got started by deer hunters apple cores (my Dad) because this fence line is a great deer crossing!
