After electronic ignition, and carb, I would look inside the fuel tank to see there is nothing in there that could be blocking the gas from getting out. Piece of cork or something could have fallen in there and gets in the perfect position to stop fuel. Then when the engine quits, the blockage moves, and is ok for a while.
Is this an electronic ignition on a 3020?
