+1 on the extra battery. I got the package from flying ag.comwith extra batteries and a case. I then ordered the prop guards, but they won't work with the case. So far, it is easy enough to fly that I would rather have it in the case when not flying than have the prop guards on.
Edit: I just looked at the sight and the snap-on prop guards are not what I got. Mine are screwed solid. I will have to look further at the snap-on kind.
