I agree. I am sure glad I had my hands on the controls of a DJI Phantom 3 BEFORE I bought the "cheap" Radio Shack drone. There is no comparison.

The Radio Shack drone took off to the left and forward over the shop with controls unable to bring it back. "I" brought it down, fortunately in some taller wheatgrass, no worse for the wear. It was having battery connection problems when I first installed the battery, as well as since. I found that a field of tall wheatgrass makes a good test range for the toy BUT I still have not mastered that little beast.

Snow, wind and cold weather have discouraged much testing of a more expensive bird. I am happy that the sticks function the same so that the user can get accustomed to the same movement.

Do not let the "cheap" model discourage anyone, the performance is night and day difference.
