I don't know how the DJI Phantom 3 pro and standard compare, but I had one of those little ones, and now a Phantom Pro for a few days now , and there is absolutely no comparison in flight. The Phantom is EASY. If the standard and pro compare in flight control, that is my recomendation for a relatively inexpensive, easy to fly drone (about $700)
