| I have Wild Blue and have been relatively happy. Have had very little down time other than when it is stormy/raining. It will work through a light rain, but not a heavy rain. About like satellite TV. I have never had to call customer service in the year that I have had it, so can't comment on that part.
I don't feel that its quite as fast as when I first subscribed, but they had just put up their new satellite and there probably wasn't as much traffic on it. Better than dialup. Not as good as wireless or cable. I'm on the lowest of their three speeds. I may upgrade one level.
Had trouble accessing NAT once and did the recommended changes and its worked fine since.
