It is correct that the radio option will require line-of-sight. A less cumbersome option is using a cell phone to acquire the correction signal from the base. This will allow the base to stay in stationairy in one location and allow the tractor to travel up to 20 miles from the base station. Accuracy will still depends on the distance from the base. It does require cell phone coverage in all your fields.
