Subject: Well bucket

There is literally no access to clean water without electricity. If an EMP is as bad as they say it could be and knock out your pumps, everything BUT water will be a walk in the park. Without a pump all your wells are worthless. Lots of hog barns/turkey barns would go to shht real fast.

It would be a really good idea to have a well bucket. Lehman's sells a galvanized one and there are a couple of sources for PVC ones. They are simple and could be a real life saver in an emergency. You would have to pull your drop pipe and pump though. Two good men could probably pull most pumps by had if they had to. They are not terribly expensive, approx. $75 to $100 depending on the size. They would not be practical for large number of livestock either.
